Determines that the entity identifier will be generated internally by the system.

Use

You can use the number range assignment type to determine if an identifier for a collateral agreement must be generated internally or be specified by the user.

Dependencies

Maintaining internal number ranges involves the following steps:

  1. Define number range intervals for entity types in the Implementation Guide (IMG) activity Define Number Ranges. You can define any number of intervals for an entity type.
  2. Additionally, in the respective Implementation Guide (IMG) activities to assign number ranges to the entity types,
    • Select an existing number range interval for each entity type using input help on the field.
    • Select the Internal number range assignment type.
