Definition

Specifies the discount (in percentage) that must be applied on the insurance type, to regulate the value of the insurance.

Use

To maintain safety discount, you must select the appropriate safety discount type. Based on this value, you can either maintain safety discount as a percentage or as an amount. You can choose from three specific values:

• Default safety discount - Is defaulted if you have maintained safety discounts in the Customizing of insurance types
• Specific safety discount - Ignores the Customizing settings and allows you to maintain a specify a safety discount percentage of your choice.
• Specific safety amount - Allows you to maintain safety discount as an amount.
