Definition
Specifies that the land charge is kept in a safe custody in favor of a third-party. Such a deal is also called fiduciary holding.
Use
A holding in trust can be held for parts as well as for the entire land charge and is often used as an alternative to assignment of land charges. It includes the safe custody of the certificate, the document creating the charge & the obligation of the trustee to inform the third party of the changes in the land register.
