Documentation
Definition
Specifies the part of the receivable to be collateralized. You can choose from the following component types:
- Principal - " " (space)
- Interest
- Fees
- Overdraft
Note: The component type Principal (contract capital) is defaulted if you do not select a component type.
Use
The combination of the receivable component type and the header and position statuses of the receivable, are used internally, to determine how collateral calculations must be performed for the receivable.
Dependencies
It is possible to use the Overdraft facility alongwith any other component type. To do so, you must not specify either the receivable percentage or the secured receivable amount.
You can maintain receivable portions only if you set the component type to Principal .
For detailed information on how the component type and statuses are used, refer to the knowledge warehouse documentation for Receivable.
