Definition

Specifies the type of restriction imposed on a collateral agreement portion.

Use

A collateral agreement may have external or prior charges existing on it. For the collateral agreement portions that represent such prior charges, you must choose an existing portion restriction. The portion restriction then restricts the use of the collateral agreement portion value, in the determination of collateral value. It also determines if manual or automatic links are possible for assigning the collateral agreement portion to receivables.
