Use

You can assign an appropriation to a grant in grant master data and thus stipulate the purpose of the grant.

You can map a sponsor's requirements for grant appropriation in the system by assigning contract object type groupings (COT groupings) to an appropriation.

Example

A sponsor provides a grant of 1000 euros and requires that this grant be used for the following:

• Tuition
• Books
• Insurance

For this grant, you group these three contract object types in a COT grouping and assign this COT grouping to an appropriation. You can then assign the appropriation to the grant in grant master data.
