Definition

Groups the contract object types which are sponsored by a specific grant.

Use

You can combine related contract object types in a COT grouping according to the sponsor's specific requirements.

You assign the COT grouping an appropriation which you can then assign to a grant in grant master data.

If you create master data for an externally managed grant, you must define a default contract object type grouping for this grant.

Example

A sponsor offers a grant of 1000 euros and requires that this grant be used for:

  • Tuition
  • Books
  • Insurance

For this grant, you combine the above three contract object types in a COT grouping.
