General Notes on the Measured/Reference Value Tab

You do not enter the measured and reference values manually, but choose from existing data records. The system obtains the data records from:

  • The amounts that you have entered for the agent (measured values)
  • Specification management (reference values)

You can have the system calculate the rating or assign it manually. The system uses the user exit ANLS_RATCP to calculate the rating.

To make a measured value-reference value comparison, proceed as follows:

  1. In the lower part of the Measured/Reference Value tab choose Insert line.

The Find Measurements for Exposure Assignment dialog box appears.

  2. Enter your search parameters and choose Execute.

A hit list of the measurements found appears.

  3. Choose the measurement you want to see and confirm your entries.

Use

In work area management/pattern management

You can answer, close, print out, and delete the specific questionnaire. Once you close the questionnaire, you can no longer edit the answers.

In risk assessment

Once you close the specific questionnaire in work area management, you can use the questionnaire within a risk assessment as an analysis method. Here you can only display the questionnaire and not edit it.

Dependencies

Use

Patterns are special work areas without reference to a place or organization that allow you to create standardized exposure profiles and risk assessments for frequently occurring activities and work areas.

You can assign any number of "real" work areas to patterns and vice versa. By means of this assignment, the exposure profile entries and dependent risk assessments of the patterns are transferred to the work areas as a reference, thus minimizing data entry time and effort.

As the data in patterns is transferred only as a reference and not as a copy, any subsequent changes made to the patterns are automatically passed on to the assigned work areas. You can, however, delete the reference. This removes the link to the pattern and you can copy the data to your local exposure profile.

Notes

  • Patterns cannot have versions assigned.
  • If you assign patterns that contain exposure profile entries for the same agent, the exposure profile entry of the lowest (selected) pattern in the hit list is transferred.
  • Using collective patterns you can group a number of individual patterns together into one unit.

Use

  • Master data

Consumption quantities for the cost element should be recorded in this consumption unit or one convertible to this consumption unit.

You can change the cost element master data only if the cost element has not been assigned or planned.

  • Planning

In planning you can change the unit to a convertible unit on the cost element/cost center level. You can enter any unit when planning for the first time, provided no consumption unit is defined in the cost element master.

Dependencies

  • If no consumption unit is defined in the cost element master and different quantity units were determined for cost center/cost element, quantity recording in actual/plan distribution is not possible.
  • In Product Cost Controlling, you may have to carry out quantity controlling for important materials although materials with different quantity units are recorded under the same cost element. You can thus record these materials in CO individually, not on the cost element level. If this is the case, the material unit and not the cost element is updated in costing and in actual.

Note

Field changes

You can change this field for each fiscal year. For example, you can change the field content for a new fiscal year.

Time dependency

The data in this field is always time-based.

If you select this indicator, the following customizing settings are activated or deactivated in the correction:

  • Cost centers (CSKS, CSKT, ONRKS, ONR00)

The function transports both complete and rough-entry cost centers.

Procedure

  • To include the settings in the correction request number specified, choose Include in Correction.
  • To remove the settings from the correction request, choose Delete from Correction.

In both cases the system may display a screen on which you can restrict your selection of entries to be transported (by controlling area or chart of accounts, for example).

Dependencies

The following objects are logically related and should therefore always be transported together:

  • Cost centers (CSKS, CSKT, ONRKS, ONR00)
  • Standard hierarchy (sets)

This dependency does not apply to rough-entry cost centers.

Use

You use a client-wide effectivity profile if you only want to allow certain effectivity types for creating change master records and for parameter value assignments in a client.

Dependencies

You define effectivity profiles in Customizing for engineering change management in the Parameter effectivity -> Maintain effectivity profiles step.

Example

In a client you only work with the CUSTOMER effectivity type. However, in your system you have the additional effectivity types SERNO (serial number) and DATE (date interval).

In Customizing you create a client-wide effectivity profile that only contains the CUSTOMER effectivity type. This has the following effect:

  • When you create a change master record with parameter effectivity, you can only select the CUSTOMER effectivity type.
  • When you assign values to the effectivity parameters, only those effectivity parameters are displayed that are assigned to the CUSTOMER effectivity type.

Supplementary Documentation - CC_PROF 0020

Use

You create a material-specific effectivity profile if only those effectivity parameters should be displayed, when you assign values to the effectivity parameters for a certain material, that are relevant for that particular material.

Dependencies

You define effectivity profiles in Customizing for engineering change management in the Parameter effectivity -> Maintain effectivity profiles step.

Example

You process material P100 and the related bills of material and routings with the CUSTOMER effectivity type only. Therefore, you want the MATNO (material) and SERNO (serial number) effectivity paramaters that are assigned to the SERNO effectivity type, and also the DATE effectivity parameter to be hidden when you assign values to the effectivity parameters for P100 in the Assign Parameter Effectivity Values dialog box.

You create an effectivity profile for your material, that only contains the CUSTOMER effectivity type. If the Assign Parameter Effectivity Values dialog box is later displayed, only those effectivity oarameters will be shown, that are assigned to the CUSTOMER effectivity type.
