Definition
If you want the waiting period to start on a date other than the employee's hire date, enter a date override.
Benefit point hire date will be overridden when you choose a date type that defines a particular date.
For example, you choose the date type 01 Technical date of entry in the Date Specification infotype 0041 and enter a date; thus, this hire date will be the date you input in the infotype 0041.
