Definition
In principle, within one company, all employees are entitled to the same number of benefit basic point.
For a new hired employee who joins in the middle of account period, SAP provides different ways of prorating the basic points to which he or she is entitled.
For example, in company A, all employees are entitled to 100 basic points starting from 01.01.2001 till 31.12.2001 A new employee joins the company on April 1st, 2001, if you use the basic points prorating by month, then the employee's actual number of basic points is: 100 * 3/4 = 75.
