Definition
If the indicator 'Check for existence in check position' is set, you must ensure from an organizational point of view that the check number was specified on the checks issued to the customer and that the checks were saved in the BCA system under this number. During a check-relevant transaction in payment transactions, if the system finds no check with the specified number, using this indicator, the system tests to see if the check should have been in the position table. If this indicator is set, the test results in an error. Otherwise the test is positive.
