Definition

Specifies the current status of the term agreement in the system.

Use

The system uses the following term agreement statuses to represent different phases in the life cycle of term agreements:

  • Zero Account

    You have not entered the required term agreement data. This term agreement is not yet operational.

  • Created

    You entered data for the term agreement. You can change the data if allowed by the product settings.

  • Fixed Based on Posting Date

    The posting date-based balance of the account is identical to or greater than the contract amount. The payment item that records the deposit sets the Fixed Based on Posting Date status. The system only sets this status if you enable the attribute Fix on Value Date-Based Account Balance (SAP BCA 000715) for the product associated to the account.

  • Fixed by Value Date

    The term agreement complies with the system checks and is operational. You must have the required authorization to change the term agreement fields that can be edited (term duration, term end date, and contract amount).

  • In Correction Mode

    You changed any of the following term agreement data after it was fixed:

    • Term duration
    • Term end date
    • Contract amount

      You must execute the fixing process again.

  • Called

    The term agreement is no longer operational since it was called.

  • To be Rolled Over

    The term agreement is operational on a future date. You can change the term agreement data as required.

  • In Postprocessing During Collection

    The system found an error during the collection process. You must rectify the error before continuing with the processing of the term agreement.

  • In Postprocessing During Fixing

    The system found an error during the fixing process. You must rectify the error before continuing with the processing of the term agreement.

  • In Postprocessing During Calling

    The system found an error during the calling process. You must rectify the error before continuing with the processing of the term agreement.

Dependencies

You can change the term start date only if the term agreement has the status Zero Account or Created. Further, you can change the term duration, end of term date, and contract amount only if the term agreement has any of the following statuses:

  • Zero Account
  • Created
  • In Postprocessing During Collection
  • In Postprocessing During Fixing
  • To be Rolled Over
  • In Correction Mode
