Use

This parameter is used with the control parameter Number of Periods for Retroactive Condition Changes.

If retroactive condition changes are not allowed, this parameter does not have an effect.

If retroactive condition changes are allowed for the set number of periods, and if retroactive condition changes are not allowed for the old fiscal year, then the retroactive change is restricted to the first balancing period of the current fiscal year. If retroactive changes are allowed for the old fiscal year, it applies to the number of periods specified.

You need to use these parameters extremely carefully because of the effect they have on the control.
