Definition

Using the limit reference it is possible to define the scales of a condition independent of amounts. The actual scaling for an account only takes place after defining amounts for the limit reference for the account.

You do not have to maintain all references for an account. If one of the references is not filled for an account, this level is not included in the calculation.

Example 1

The following credit interest scale is defined for a standard condition:

From DEM 0.00 0%
From reference 1 5%
From reference 2 6%

For account 123 the references are entered as follows :

Reference 1 DEM 10,000.00
Reference 2 DEM 15,000.00

This results in the following interest scale for the account:

From DEM 0.00 0%
From DEM 10,000.00 5%
From DEM 15,000.00 6%

Example 2

For the above-specified credit interest scale, for an account only

Reference 2 DEM 10,000.00

is maintained. This results in the following interest scale for the account:

From DEM 0.00 0%
From DEM 10,000.00 6%
