Definition

The composition of an account pool for interest compensation can change with the passing of time.

It is possible that account balancing for an old period has to be carried out again, for example, due to value dates in the past, and the composition of the account pool has changed in the meantime. In this case you need to group together several pools to form a graph during the account balancing run to enable the individual periods to be settled chronologically.

Depending on the posting date, the interest of the previous period must be contained in the starting balance of the following period.
