This entry describes the operation that has led to the postings on the displayed general ledger accounts.

Example

An item was parked.

This leads to the general ledger being updated, and so there is posting to certain accounts. If the status of the item changes from "Parked" to "Posted", the amount is taken off the first accounts on the general ledger and then put back on the appropriate accounts on the general ledger.
