Definition

This date specifies up until when information is to be transferred to the general ledger.

In productive operation it is advisable that this date corresponds to one day before the current payment transactions date. In this way it is assured that all information is transferred to the general ledger after completion of end of day processing.

If the documents for legacy data transfer are to be transferred to the general ledger, this date is simultaneously the posting date for the posting on the general ledger.
This date must be the same as the go-live date of all accounts grouped together in the general ledger postings.
