Definition

The withdrawal period start is the date from which you can withdraw the notice amount without incurring any interest penalty. The withdrawal period start is the notice receipt date + notice period.

Dependencies

If the notice reason in Customizing specifies that the notice period is to be suppressed, then the notice period for the creation of notice is set to zero when you choose the "Forward Calculation" button for the automatic calculation, although a notice period may be defined on the account.

Example

If a customer writes that he or she requires 3000 USD as soon as possible without interest penalty, then the received date stamp on the letter can be used as the notice receipt date. The system then calculates the soonest possible date (withdrawal period start), and when the customer can have the money without having to pay interest penalty.

If the customer writes that he or she requires 5000 USD on 11/01/2003, then the system takes this date as the withdrawal period start. The recipt of the notice is noted under the notice receipt date.

Example One
Partial amount notice with a notice period of one month:
Notice receipt date: 10/01/2003
Withdrawal period start: 01/11/2003

Example Two
Partial amount notice with a notice period of two months:
Notice receipt date: 11/15/2003
Withdrawal period start: 01/15/2003
