Documentation

Enter a work permit number. Work permits are required for non-EU citizens and must be applied for by the employer before the employee enters Belgium.

There are three types of work permits:

• Type A is of unlimited duration and is valid for all professions in Belgium.
• Type B is valid one year and is limited to one job. It must be renewed annually by the employer.
• Type C is valid one year and applies to people working for more than one employer.
