Definition

Specifies a manual adjustment of vesting service for an employee in months.

Use

If you want to make an adjustment, enter the difference between the calculated service and the adjusted service, and specify whether the amount is to be subtracted from or added to the calculated service in the Calc. field.

The amount that you enter is immediately taken into account in the total service amount and in the separate vesting percentage for manual adjustments. However, it is only included in the calculated service amount and vesting percentage when a service calculation run takes place (and amounts calculated by a third party administrator are saved to the infotype).
