Definition
Specifies the scope of service provided by a third party administrator (TPA) for the evaluation of retirement plan data.
Use
If the plan that you are defining is a retirement plan, specify which of the following agreements you have with your TPA:
- Full service
The TPA calculates both employee length of service and projected benefit amounts from data provided by your organization.
- Partial service
Your organization calculates employee length of service and provides this and other data, on the basis of which the TPA calculates projected benefit amounts.
If the plan is not a retirement plan, leave this field blank.
