Definition

A termination variant is a means of grouping termination rules in order to apply them to a plan in a benefit program. Within the termination variant, different termination rules can be defined for different employee groups (termination groupings).

Use

This variant enables you to assign a set of termination rules to a plan by means of a single customizing entry. Since a termination rule is always defined for a particular termination grouping, the system automatically determines which rule from the set applies to a particular employee by determining the employee's termination grouping dynamically during processing.
