Definition
Specifies the cutoff day for which the seniority of the employee is determined by the system in order to allocate employees to seniority groups. A cutoff day is defined by a combination of day and month, from which the sytem derives an actual date.
Use
Enter a cutoff day if you want to use seniority as a criterion for the variant but want the seniority of employees to be determined on a date of your choice, rather than on the calculation base date.
