Use

Set this indicator if plan costs are to be deducted from employee pre-tax salary, of if you want to allow employees to choose whether deductions are pre- and post-tax.

Dependencies

If you want to allow employees to choose between pre- and post-tax deductions, select both Post-tax allowed and Pre-tax allowed. The type of deduction actually chosen by the employee is specified on enrollment. In Employee Self-Services, the employee enters his/her choice directly. In the standard enrollment transaction, this is entered by the clerk.
