Use
Make an entry in this field if you want to define a minimum number of persons of a particular subtype of the Family/Related Persons infotype (0021) that are required as dependents for the dependent coverage option
When an offer is generated for an employee, only those dependent coverage options are included for which the minimum number requirement can be fulfilled, given the possible dependents of the employee. On enrollment, the system checks that the number of dependents selected is equal to or greater than the specified minimum.
Dependencies
For domestic partners and domestic partners' children (subtypes 13 and 14), this field refers to taxable persons. Enter the minimum number of non-taxable domestic partners/domestic partner's children in the Min.non-taxable field.
Example
For the dependent coverage option EE+1 (Employee + Spouse), you enter the subtype 1 for spouse and specify 1 as both the minimum and maximum number of persons of this subtype that can be enrolled.
