Definition
Use
Make an entry in this field if you want to define a minimum number of dependents that must be enrolled under the dependent coverage option.
When an offer is generated for an employee, only those dependent coverage options are included for which the minimum number requirement can be fulfilled, given the possible dependents of the employee. On enrollment, the system checks that the number of dependents selected is equal to or greater than the specified minimum.
Dependencies
- The highest minimum number that you can define is 20.
- If you want to define the minimum number of dependents per type of dependent, you can do this in the IMG step Define Minimum and Maximum Number of Dependents.
