Definition
This is the unit for the time period, within which adjustment processing must take place, following the employee's first changes to enrollments. This is effectively a restricted period within the total adjustment processing for the employee to make corrections to any changes.
Example
An employee adopts a child, and enrolls the child as a dependent in the health and dental care plans. Two weeks later, the employee remembers that the child should also be a beneficiary of the life insurance coverage.
