Definition
A cost grouping is a means of identifying a group of employees with common characteristics in order to determine cost. The system sorts employees into cost groupings during processing, according to the corresponding feature.
Use
Cost groupings can be assigned to plans in a cost variant, and enable you to use additional criteria to those available in the variant to determine cost amounts for different groups of employees.
