Definition
This date is only relevant if the insuance coverage is a factor of the employee's salary.
It is the month (in conjunction with the day) used by the system for calculating the employee's salary.
Because the system reads the basis day on an ongoing basis, there is naturally no year specified. Each time therefore, the system calculates a date using the following algorithm:
- It inserts the year of the start of enrollment.
- If this date is in advance of the start of enrollment, the system sets the date back by a year.
- If this date is then before the employee's hire date, the system sets the date forward to the employee hire date.
