This is the object identifier for the beneficiary.
Example
An employee may want to enroll his 8 children as beneficiaries in his Life Insurance plan. These children will all have Family/related persons (Infotype 0021) records, subtype 2 child. However they will have the object identifiers numbered 1 to 8 to distinguish them from one another.
