Definition
This indicator controls the calculation of the total contribution for health insurance. The total contribution is collected by the health insurance company.
Procedure
The first character is P, F, S, I or B.
P = The contribution comes from the percentage calculation using
percentage rates from T5D1I (Health insurance contributions for
compulsorily insured persons).
Health insurance indicators 5 or 6 are multiplied by the HI
assessment threshold. Otherwise, the percentage rate is multipled
by the HI gross amount.
F = The contribution is a fixed value from T5D1O, and is
dependent on the health insurance company and contribution class.
S = The contribution comes from level table T5D1M, and is
dependent on the health insurance company and HI gross amount.
I = This contribution is not derived from a table. This option
is used for privately insured persons.
The amount is calculated using the specifications in the
SI additional insurance infotype (0079).
B = The contribution comes from a percentage calculation with
percentage rates from T5D1I. With the HI indicators 5 and 6, the
percentage rate multipled by the HI gross amount is used.
For P or B specify the percentage rate as a second charater. The following can be used:
1 = general percentage rate
2 = increased percentage rate
3 = reduced percentage rate
4 = percentage rate for retirees.
For F, S and I the second character is left blank.
For F and S the contribution is reduced in months with fewer than 30 SI days. There is no reduction for those who are privately insured. The reduction takes place in relation to SI days.
