Documentation
Definition
Defines the number of age or seniority levels for the early promotion.
Use
In this field, you specify the number of levels by which the employee's age or seniority level is increased.
If it is necessary for workforce requirements, you can approve age or seniority level promotions in advance. In general, promotions of more than 2 levels should not be granted, however, a maximum of four levels can be granted if necessary (see also §72 Public Sector Remuneration Act (Bundesbesoldungsgesetz) and §27 section C of the Collective Agreement for the Public Sector (Bundes-Angestelltentarifvertrag)).
Procedure
- Enter the number of levels for an antipatory promotion (1, 2, 3, or 4).
- Then, in the Type field, enter how the period of early promotion is processed further (or if a final level is granted).
