Documentation

Definition

This indicator defines if the transaction is considered an internal or external transaction for Escheat compliance.

Under Escheat compliance, internal transactions are those initiated internally without customer interaction (e.g., interest postings). External transactions are those initiated by the customer (e.g., a check deposit). If for a certain period, say one year, the customer's account only has internal transactions posted, then that account will be considered as Inactive and the the account status will be set to inactive.

Usage

Set this indicator only if you want to consider the transaction to be an internal transaction.
