Definition

The Escheat Period is the period, specified in years, of an account in which the status has been Dormant. Since no contact has been made with the customer throughout this period, the account is considered abandoned and must be reported to the local jursidictions as such.

Enter the period in which, if the account has been Dormant, the account will become Escheat and closed with the balance being transferred and remitted to the local jurisdiction.
