Definition

The Status of a Hold can have the following values:

01    Active

02    Flagged for Deletion

03    Inactive

04    Active but change in Release

05    Awaiting Approval

Holds are created active unless Dual Control requires a Release. If a release is required, a newly created Hold will have the status of 05. An active Hold that has been modified and now requires Release can have 2 statuses: the 'old' Hold will remain active but is flagged that a new hold exists awaiting release (status 04); the 'new' Hold awaiting release will have status 05. After release, the new Hold details will replace the old Hold, and the status of 01 will be set.

Use

The system automatically sets the status. This cannot be altered by a user directly.
