Definition
Specifies the incidental payments as a percentage of the total land charge.
Use
Besides a one time payment of land charge amount, a land charge interest is agreed to cover incidental costs such as legal follow up costs and damage claims of the land charge creditor. It includes interest that has accrued over a period of time and costs that may have increased the collateralized principal debt. The land charge incidental payments are mostly used in the case of compulsory enforcement with respect to landed property.
