Documentation
Definition
Specifies in percentage terms, the value which the guarantor promises to pay for the remaining financial lossess of the bank, after collateralization using all other available collaterals.
Use
The value of indemnity bond portions is used for collateralization of receivables. The default rate of an indemnity bond guarantee is used to calculate its collateral right and assessment value.
Collateral right of an indemnity bond = minimum (sum of receivables linked to the guarantee * guarantee rate) and (maximum amount of guarantee fixed in the collateral agreement) and (possible default * default rate)
Dependencies
The default liability guarantee (indemnity bond) is assigned the least priority amongst all the collateral agreements assigned to receivables. Therefore, in the distibution of collateral value, the value of its portions is considered only if receivables are found to be under - collateralized, even after collateralization from other normal collateral agreements.
