Definition
Indicates whether the collection/disbursement transaction for the broker is relevant to withholding tax.
Use
The flag is only used for BAPIs for the broker report.
Dependencies
The flag can only be set for open items, for which withholding tax can be retained by insurance companies.
Example
You want to pay out a claim of 1000 EUR to a customer, using a broker. The insurance company must deduct 10% withholding tax for the claim.
If you call up the CollectItems method with the clearing information for the open item (clearing amount 1000 EUR, you have set the Transaction relevant to withholding tax flag), a broker report item for 900 EUR is created. 900 EUR is paid out to the broker, 100 EUR is posted as withholding
