Definition
A turnover number for a variable transaction is assigned per company code. It is unique within a company code.
Number assignment can take place either externally or internally. In an external assignment, the number forms a link to the turnover of the transaction in the operative system. If there is no external number, for example in tests, or if the external number is irrelevant, you can choose an internal number assignment.
