Definition
The unemployment insurance indicator field controls the calculation, allocation and payment of unemployment insurance contributions.
Use
The unemployment insurance indicator is an addition to the official contribution group key and is only used internally.
0: No insurance liability
No UI contributions are determined in payroll for employees coded with the indicator 0.
You use the indicator 0 for the following employee groups:
- Short-term employees
- Part-time employees
- Retirees without SI liability
1: Full contribution
The employer and employee share of unemployment insurance is determined in payroll for employees coded with the indicator 1.
You only use the indicator 1 for employees who are fully liable for unemployment insurance.
2: Half contribution
The employer share of unemployment insurance is determined in payroll for employees coded with the indicator 2.
You only use the indicator 2 for retirees who are fully liable for social insurance in your company.
