Definition

This specifies the employee's assignment to one of the technical contribution groups.

Use

For official social insurance contribution groups, a difference in contributions rates can occur. The system uses these to calculate social insurance contributions. In order to identify the different contribution rates for the contribution group, the SAP system uses a unique key for the contribution groups. Therefore, an official contribution group can correspond to several technical contribution groups.

The system uses the technical contribution group to determine the correct social insurance contribution during the payroll run.

The official name of the technical groups is only used in the evaluation programs.

Use

There are different contribution rates to calculate the social insurance contributions for a functional contribution group. In order to identify the different contribution rates, SAP uses its own unique codes for the contribution groups. A functional contribution group can correspond to several technical contribution groups.

Along with the technical contribution group, the insurance contributions that are to be managed are determined during accounting

The functional long name of the contribution groups is only used in the reporting program.

Procedure

Selection of technical contribution group:

  1. Choose Restrict Values in the F4 Help.
  2. In the func. contribution field enter the functional contribution group of the employee and choose Continue.

    The system lists all the technical contribution groups that correspond to the entered functional contribution groups.

  3. Select the desired technical contribution group.

Use

Contains the SI contribution group to which an employee must be reassigned if he or she exceeds the age limit.
