Definition
If the total pension payments for surviving dependants exceed those for the pension holder, the pension payments for the dependant must be reduced proportionally.
This field contains the total percentage rates for surviving dependant's provision for all dependants. This is used to calculate the reduction rate for the individual surviving dependant's insurance.
Example:
1 widow: 60%
1 accident half-orphan: 30%
1 accident half-orphan: 30%

Total 120%
Reduction factor 100 / 120 = 0.833
This field is only evaluated for surviving dependants and for values that are greater than 100.
The proportional family reduction must be entered by the user after the payroll run. The payroll run is then repeated.

Use
The proportional family pension reduction is calculated automatically within pension administration (PAdm) if subapplication VA25 has been activated. Notional pension calculations are required for all further surviving dependents of the same pension holder.
In this case, the field is used to manually override the family reduction calculated automatically.
