Documentation
Definition
Overrides the automatic payment or vacation bonus functions in the system with reference to the payment of the special payment or vacation bonus.
Use
- In this field, you can force a special payment if it is not paid due to the automatic special payment function but should be paid to the employee in question.
- You can block the payment of a special payment if it is paid with the automatic special payment function but should not be paid to the employee in question.
Further notes
Since a record for the Special Rules infotype (0265) is always valid for one year only, you must delimit the infotype record at the end of the year.
When you force special payments using subtype 03, it may be necessary, depending on the Customizing settings, to create the infotype for one month only, so that the payment is not made every month.
Example
In the following cases, the special payment must be effected manually since the automatic function work in a different way:
- An employee is hired after October 01 with the BAT collective agreement. The employee receives a special payment since he or she was previously employed in the Public Sector (force payment).
- An employee leaves the company and should receive a proportional payment for the current year (force payment).
- An employee leaves the company before March 31 of the following year and is not entitled to the special payment (block payment).
