Use

You can use this grouping to define various sets of conflict resolution strategies.

If conflicts occur when comparing illness notifications (infotype 3248) with absences (infotype 2001), the system offers various functions for resolving these conflicts, depending on the type of conflict. For each conflict type, you enter further details in the relevant Customizing activity, whereby you use the grouping as the key.

You require the grouping in the following Customizing activities:

• Define Absence Types for New Absences Added
• Define Absence Type in Event of Conflict with Illness Notification
• Define Absence Types for Conversion in Event of Missing Illness Notif.
