Definition
Select an employee's age group.
Use
Age groups are used to calculate tax rebates.
Dependencies
For customizing purposes, see Maintain Tax Age Groups. To qualify for age group 7, an employee must submit an age letter.
Example
- Employees in age group 5 (less than 65 years of age) qualify for a standard tax rebate.
- Employees in age group 7 (65 years of age or older) qualify for a standard tax rebate plus an additional tax rebate.
Note
A technical birth date can be specified in infotype 'Date specifications' if a birth date other than that specified in infotype 'Personal data' should be used to calculate an employee's age group.
