Definition

Key for identifying a key figure.

Use

When you create the key figure, enter an ID for it. The system then displays a dialog box in which you choose the key figure category. Each category of key figure is dependent on the others both technically, and from a business point of view. For more information about the hierarchy of key figure categories, see the SAP Library under Market Risk Analysis -> Information System -> Evaluations using the Results Database.

Dependencies

Note the following considerations for benchmark key figures:

• You cannot assign benchmark key figures to evaluation procedures. This is because benchmark key figures are calculated in a different benchmark run.
• The system stores the market data for benchmarks in the position key figures.
• You cannot use flow key figures categories.
