Definition
In the analysis run of a procedure for single records, the system currently supports five modes:
Basic Run:
Standard update (INSERT). The system calculates the single records and then they are updated in the results database. The system can only start the basic run if the specified procedure for single records has not yet been carried out for the specified date.
You cannot start the basic run in conjunction with single object selection. The only way to select the financial objects is by assigning a filter for the procedure for single records.
You can simulate the basic run in conjunction with the Test Run for Basic Run option. The status of the RDB does not change.
If test selections exist for a filter, the normal selections are still used in the Basic Run mode. The test selections are used only if you select the mode Basic Run with Test Selections of the Filter.
Basic Run with Test Selections of the Filter
You should only use this operation mode in a test system, and you can only start this mode if at least one filter with existing test selections is assigned to the procedure for single records. In contrast to normal filter definitions, you can change the test selections of this filter even if the filter is already 'frozen' as a result of existing evaluation data. You can also start the Basic Run with Test Selections of the Filter as a test run in connection with the option Test Run for Basic Run.
Adjustment Run:
If you start the adjustment run without single object selection, all transactions that were created or changed after the basic run are reprocessed, and the single records are subsequently completed or adjusted.
The system processes all selected transactions in conjunction with single object selection, once the selection matches the filter that was assigned to the procedure for single records. Thus, single records can be adjusted if, since the basic run, incorrect transactions from the basic run have been corrected.
If test selections exist for a filter, the normal selections are still used in the Adjustment Run mode. The test selections are used only if you select the mode Adjustment Run with Test Selections of the Filter.
Adjustment Run with Test Selections of the Filter
You should only use the Adjustment Run with Test Selections of the Filter in a text system. You can only start this operation mode if a filter with existing test selections has been assigned to the procedure for single records. . This operation mode behaves in the same way as the adjustment run with the test selections of the filter, which we described above.
Reversal Run
This gives the single records reversed status. After the reversal run, you can recreate the single records using a basic run.
