Definition
The filter can have the following statuses:
Status ' ' (@4G@): The filter is consistent and does not contain additional test selections
You cannot use this filter for single records procedures with the supplement "Filter with Test Selections".
For a filter of the category Filter for Portfolio Hierarchies, final result procedures using a Filter with Test Selections can be started only if the final result procedure contains at least one portfolio hierarchy to which a filter is assigned that has test selections.
Status T (@12@): The filter contains additional test selections
The filter is inconsistent. It contains additional test selections, which were defined for it in the transaction for editing filters.
- Purpose of the filter category Dynamic Selections
If a filter of the category Dynamic Selections is assigned to a procedure for single records, and this filter contains test selections, then the procedure for single records can be used with the function Filter with Test Selections. In this case, those transactions are selected that match the definitions in the test selections.
- Purpose of the filter category Filter for Portfolio Hierarchies (PH)
If this filter was assigned to a portfolio hierarchy, all the final result procedures can be started that are contained in this portfolio hierarchy and have the function Filter with Test Selections. While the final result procedure is running, an additional tree structure for the portfolio hierarchy is created temporarily for the test selections, and is used to calculate the final results.
Status I (@02@): The filter is inconsistent
Selections were transported into the system for this filter that are not permitted due to the fact that evaluation results were saved on the basis of this filter. If the filter is used in single record procedures, then the filter selections cannot be changed once evaluations have run for the single record procedures. If the filter is used for portfolio hierarchies, then key figure values were saved for the portfolio hierarchy. In this case you can change the filter selections only if the changes you make extend the tree structure of the portfolio hierarchy assigned to the filter. Otherwise nodes of the portfolio hierarchy would be lost when the portfolio hierarchy was regenerated. Hence all portfolio hierarchies assigned to this filter have the status Inconsistent, and can no longer be used in evaluations.
You can remove the inconsistency by transporting permitted filter definitions into the system, or by choosing the Reset function in the transaction for editing filters. In this case, the filter is reset to the latest valid version of the filter definitions.
