Definition
Specifies the date from which an assignment variant is valid. This is the date you used for the assignment of benchmarks to a portfolio hierarchy node.
Use
Dependencies
- You can delete or change the assignment of a benchmark to a ph node for each validity date.
- When you change the assignment of benchmarks to a portfolio hierarchy, if you assign a new benchmark whose validity date is in the past, you must check whether any key figures were already calculated for this benchmark. If not, start a basic run for the time period and benchmark in question.
- A change history is created for assignment variants as well. However, since there is no dependent evaluation data for assignment variants, it is not possible to determine from when an assignment variant is used productively, and from when a change history should be recorded. The assignment variable can be used in the Analyzer Information System once key figure values exist in the RDB for a validity period of the assignment variable, This means that a change history can be recorded from this point in time, but there is no obligation to record the changes
