Definition

You use the selection rule for absence quota types to set rules regarding how an employee's absence entitlement is generated in time evaluation.

Use

Under the selection rule for absence quota types, you specify valuation bases per quota type selection rule group and absence quota type for determining the amount of an entitlement. The calculation is made each calculation period or accrual period. You also specify when you want the entitlements to be calculated and transferred to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006). Once they have been transferred, the entitlements can be deducted.
